"Experience of hospital stay for prostatectomy..."

Having never been in hospital before, I was understandably nervous about my operation and the circumstances relating to it. Now it's all over and I must say I can't praise everyone involved enough; from the nurses, doctors, registrars, anaesthetists, consultants, surgeons and everyone else I met during my stay. I am so grateful for their kindness and professionalism. And I will always remember my experience with fond memories, at a time when I felt scared and bewildered by it all. Thank you everyone in the Urology department. You provide a fantastic service, and although you may feel sometimes that your efforts are taken for granted, I'm certain you are appreciated by many, many ex patients who are as equally thankful as I am. Keep up the good work. x
