I was admitted for a bilateral hernia repair and wanted to say thank you and show some gratitude to the staff. I was looked after very well from beginning to end.
When I was first admitted I was booked in by the friendly staff, I was introduced to the surgeon and the anaesthetist, who also very friendly and explained the procedure, which was a spinal anesthetic to repair the hernia. The male nurse and female trainee, as well as the anaesthetist who looked after me in the anaesthetic room and during surgery were excellent and made me feel completely at ease.
The surgeon did a good job too although I did not get to see much of that. The after care team were good too, and was well looked after by a very busy team whilst recovering on the ward.
