I brought a 95 year old relative into casualty with breathing problems and weakness. We were seen very quickly and assessed by a very kind nurse. Referred to a doctor was also kind and thorough.He arranged admission where treatment took place in a medical obs ward. She made a miraculous recovery and was discharged a few days later. Ony minor issues were it was a mixed ward which she found difficult. Transport home was a very lengthy process and she arrived home at 8.0pm on a very cold night. However all in all we were very impressed with Conquest and the service provided

Dear Fiona Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback about your experience of Urgent Care services at the Conquest Hospital when you recently accompanied your 95 year old relative. We're pleased that she made a 'miraculous' recovery and we hope that she is continuing to stay well. We're sorry that it was necessary for your relative to be cared for in a 'mixed sex' area, this is not what we would ideally wish for but there are occassions when it is unavoidable.
