About: North Middlesex Hospital

I came to a&e on saturday with a suspected broken hand. Get told after xray is just bruised. By yesterday was more swollen and painful so went back get told is fractured from same xray as saturday and referred to fracture clinic for today to get told is not broken just bruised and told can go work yet can hardly move hand or pick anything up. Plus can feel across hand the break in bone. Very unhappy and is diabolical.

I am sorry to hear that you have been given conflicting clinical information and recommendations relating to the injury to your hand. This obviously needs clarifying definitively.
