"delays delays delays"

About: Airedale General Hospital

Following an initial referral appointment with a consultant last October - I am still waiting for a surgery appointment. No point ever phoning consultant secretary as they just pass you to appointments who then say they do not have that information...Due to the delays I then had cause to visit A&E over Christmas period. Left hand does not seem to know what right hand is doing. All the chasing is down to me. On my first phone call I was asked if I had actually had an appointment (this was a few weeks after my first appointment!)

We are sorry to read of your dissatisfaction with your wait for a surgery appointment and urge you to contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on 01535 294019, so that we can look into this further.
