"absolutely unbelievable"

I have lost my grandfather, father and sister to bowel cancer. I therefore have been having Colonoscopies every 3 years and now also my children. Apparently bowel cancer treatment is changing all the time and it can now be possible to tell from deceased relatives biopsies if they contain a certain gene that may provide evidence that you may not have to put yourself through this procedure. I have been seen now by a genealogy research clinic who, after taking all my family history into consideration decided to apply to you for my biopsy taken when I had a polyp removed. That was last year! They heard nothing. They applied again and still nothing. Even a reply saying you have lost it would be better than nothing, but just to ignore a request from another NHS Hospital is beyond belief. I now have to wait until they can try and find my deceased sisters biopsy which was the Royal Marsden. I can only hope that they understand the need for speed of communication as every minute lost by Croydon University Hospital could be a ticking time bomb for myself and my family. No excuse.
