"Staff turned away a child in pain"

Turned away yesterday, v rudely, by staff who clearly were not interested in the slightest in my child's problem ( a severe allergic skin reaction on both hands). Couldn't get a GP appt, A&E is always a long wait so Crowborough seemed like the perfect place for help. I was very curtly told that his v itchy and unsightly rash was not an injury and was turned around and sent packing. No offer to look at it, nor to seek a doctor's advice nor even which hospital to go to. Simply, "nope, not something we help with, go away". Complete job's worths. I love the NHS but this is taking the mick. A child in discomfort is turned away when the two staff were looking neither busy nor professional. Met a parent in the car park who was having to drive to A&E too because there was no radiologist available to check her son's injury. If these places want to remain open and be used they need to try and be accomodating and remember that their primary goal is to help. Not providing some level of first aid to my son was absolutely inexcusable.
