I have recently been seen by the Chest Clinic and Respiratory Physiology, as an X ray showed a shadow on my lung. You can imagine what was going through my mind. I was given a CT scan and saw 2 doctors, around 4 nurses, the radiologist, a secretary, the 2 technicians in Physiology, as well as the receptionists. I have to admit I was frightened when this all started. All the staff I saw were caring, knew how I was feeling, and treated me gently, and with compassion. I know that they are trained to deal with people who are going through this, but I feel the quality of care was exceptional, and higher than I expected. What I feared proved negative, and I am still to be under the clinic, but I just wished to thank you for making it all a bit easier for me. Thank you. I would also like to point out that on 2 visits to your hospital, while looking for directions, members of staff stopped and asked me if I needed help. You certainly run a very tight ship.
