"no concern for mental illnes"

About: The Royal Victoria Infirmary

Writing to iinform about the disgusting attitude of staff towards my mental health problems at the time i was too ill to complain. With the head matron even stating that this is all in my head. I think the staff need to be more considerate and have training into how to deal with mental health problems on the ward. Not to mention the unprofessional behaviour of the nightshift nurses who were playing music from the main desk, only to laugh at me if i said anything to do with how i was feeling. Felt like a joke at the time and was aware that nurses wanted me out as quickly as possible. Should never be made to feel like this in a 'caring ' environment.
