"Re: 2 hip replacements between Dec2013 and..."

I was very lucky- I was recommended to a senior Consultant who specialises in hip treatments. I was in and out in 3 days. Care at all stages was excellent- I did feel the night staff were under pressure- and there was some confusion over my discharge after the second op- I was probably SO keen to get home! I don't know if the anaesthetics and pain relief affect one's taste buds- but the food was not very appealing. But - overall- I am very grateful to all concerned. I am in so much less pain. Hips are great- just the left shoulder and right foot now!!! Thank you all.
