"Angiogram today!"

This morning I was booked in for an angiograme. Wonderful, wonderful treatment. Nurses and doctor so kind and seem to genuinely care for their patients. Mixed ward though so need to be aware to take dressing down etc. Only one loo! Word of warning! We were told that I must be collected and not walk far after treatment... but while my husband parked to collect me, we had to wait a while for some medication ... We received a parking ticket! I have a blue badge and am normally able to park on double yellow lines for up to 3 hours without penalty. We are going to appeal of course. Where did the traffic warden think we were ... shopping! The cardio reception clerk was appalled at this unjust ticketing.
