"Physiotherapy staff"

I had a stay with them in June 2014, and the two staff were faultless. When I had my accident on 26/05/2014 I was transferred to Clitheroe Community Hospital. When it was my turn to leave and return home it was a very sad day for me, simply because I would never see them again. After my accident, it was the surgeons at a different hospital who put me back together again, but it was the staff at Clitheroe who helped me to get mobile again. One member of staff gave me faith to carry on, and when I felt low and down and felt that I would never walk again she was always there, she gave me her shoulder to cry on, in short she was always there, for me for that she will always have my heartfelt gratitude and i will remember her for the rest of my life. Please arrange it that she can read what I have written. yours forever, independent Bill. Thank you.

Dear Mr Rishton Many thanks for your feedback on your experience of our Clitheroe Community Hospital, and thank-you for taking the time to do so. I will make sure your appreciation is passed onto the team who will be very pleased to hear that your recent experience with us was really positive as we always strive to deliver safe, personal & effective care. In relation to passing on your thanks to the particular nurse I will send on your comment to the matron and ward manager who will, I am sure, be able to pass your thanks on- but if you can remember the lady's name please do get in contact on the details below and I can then send a specific thanks to her for you. If you would like to talk through your visit to us with one of our Patient Experience team so we can understand the bits of your experience that made this such a good visit for you we would really value this so that we can try to make it like this for every patient visiting our hospitals and services. You can either contact me (Wendy Stobbs) on 01254 734471/ 01254 733704 or email me on wendy.stobbs@elht.nhs.uk. Or if you would like to share your experience in confidence with an independent organisation please contact Healthwatch BwD on 01254 504985 or info@healthwatchblackburnwithdarwen.co.uk Many thanks again for commenting and best wishes on your continued recovery Wendy Stobbs, Senior Patient Experience Facilitator
