"Thank you for the thoughtfulness"

About: Locala Community Partnerships CIC

(as a parent/guardian),

My son had his growing toe nails removed in February n the two nurses Sarah and her colleague from podiatrists @ Dewsbury health Center thay were fantastic as my son as mild learning difficulties but they made him feel very safe and give him a lot of reassurance throughout the whole procedure and I would like to say a big thank you to them both for there thoughtfulness and care which Thay gave xx

Now the downside is the after care we have received is a little disappointing due to infection in toes n can't get to see any one for nearly four days which is just not good enough when it's making your child feel ill and not have enough dressings

Thank you for taking the time to leave your comments.

Its pleasing to hear your comments about your son's recent toenail procedure and the fact you found the procedure a positive experience - your thanks have been passed onto Sarah and her colleague.

I agree, if someone has a problem after nail surgery they should be seen as soon as possible and not have to wait, all clinicians and administrative staff should be aware of this. I have shared your story with all my podiatry colleagues to remind them that patients are to be seen if there are any concerns after surgery.

If you would like to discuss the matter in further detail please contact me on paul.rhysvivian@locala.org.uk
