The staff here are fantastic, but for all their “fantasticness” they’ve forgotten to do one thing – to inform new service users on their arrival of just how great a job each member of the team is doing!
Unconditional kindness and support from the staff means you can allow your thoughts to form freely and naturally. Really bond with the building and become relaxed in the environment to gain maximum benefit from the entire experience. Say whatever comes to mind during one-to-one sessions. Trust that the staff have your best interests at heart and will guide you to ensure that each session is productive and meaningful, while remaining user-led.
On my first day here, a member of staff said to me “you’ll get out of this what you put into it”. Now, I’m not overly keen on “sayings” like that and it went over my head somewhat…But here on my tenth day, the accuracy and relevance of that “saying” couldn’t be clearer.
