In June this year I had 15 days on Huntsman ward 3 at the Northern General for a knee replacement! In this very busy ward I was shown kindness and respect by ALL members of staff. Nothing was too much trouble and the standard of care was exceptional. Advice given by the occupational therapist proved very useful, as also did the aids that I was loaned.
The choice of meals was also good especially the salads! I then had five pleasant sessions at the Hallamshire for physiotherapy, and the advice and exercises shown certainly helped towards my mobility. The transport there by both ambulance and medi-car was absolutely superb, with very little waiting time.
