"Unclean enviornment"

About: Doncaster Royal Infirmary / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I feel this place is not only disgusting but absolutely filthy.

My granddaughter went to the toilet only to find a cannula on the floor and blood over the toilet seat, reported it to the receptionist and it was still there one hour later, the excuse was no staff.

I had to go into traumour unit to then mis laying my notes three times. I was told that I had to have a cannula but it would be an hour's wait as no staff, I then started to write the staff up which was a joke and within minutes a nurse came to put the cannula in.

Another person was being disruptive (where was your security staff nowhere in sight). It wasn’t I threatened them they quietened down.

One nurse was run off her feet doing what she could (bless her) while I felt another nurse moaned about she wasn't feeling good.

The waste bins were full and brimming over, water on the floor, paramedics walking through appearing to spill coffee on the floor when all they had to do is walk another few yards to avoid the area.

The place is filthy.
