"They don't care"

About: The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust

(as the patient),

I had brain surgery in Walton neuro and I feel that the care I received in the week long stay in the centre was very poor. I take numerous medications and they wouldn't let me have one of my regular prescription drugs during my stay. I complained and even got my visitors to point out the error but they still wouldn't give me the med. I felt I was patronised by the staff about this, who it seems didn't have a clue about the dangers of stopping certain medications overnight. I ended up in a psychotic state because of the shock of sudden withdrawal and am still suffering many years later. I think people should think twice before having surgery at this so called 'centre of excellence'.
