"Extremely busy department"

About: North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust / Emergency ambulance Royal Manchester Children's Hospital

(as a parent/guardian),

My child had been poorly and was brought in by ambulance after midnight. The department was extremely busy with wait times of over 3 hours. The staff were great although the actual waiting area was horrendously dirty. The toilets were also in a bad state. Considering this is a hospital I expected a higher level of cleanliness.
