I have rung the automated service to change the date of my eye appointment at QMC. I have been on the phone for 11 mins and 42 seconds and I still have not got an appointment. I think this is a disgrace. Recently I was contacted about my appointment, but I was out and didn't have my diary on me. When the confirmation letter came through I realised I couldn't make that appointment as I was away. Previously I could have just gone in and changed the date but the automated service kept me on hold then said they couldn't make me an appointment and that if I didn't hear anything in two weeks to contact my GP and start the process again! I feel that this is not acceptable.
