"I had an amazing experience"

I had an absolutely amazing experience, everyone of the midwifes that cared for me in the labour ward were fantastic.

I had 3 midwives and 1 trainee in the time I was at hospital and in labour and they all chatted to me whilst providing exceptional care. Whilst in active labour the midwife stayed with me throughout as my baby's heart rate kept dipping as I contracted.

I had an epidural and the anaeatheist was professional but also found the time to have a short conversation, the midwife decided to press the emergency button due to my baby's heart rate dipping at every contraction and immediately a team came in and my baby was delivered with the aid of the ventouse by the Dr in charge.

I have nothing but good words to say about the experience, the midwives especially they are worth their weight in gold and made my experience far more pleasant than it could have been, I'm not sure everyone realises their true value, they are the ones who help you through the pain and make you feel like a person.
