"After 5 miscarriages, the hospital says there's nothing they can do"

I have been to Peggy Cole Ipswich 5 times now.

1st time they told me my baby was fine and the next day i miscarried. I said to them when i had my scan there was something wrong as I’d had a scan before and the baby's heartbeat was much stronger. The staff are very nice but the consultant took forever to see me and then didn’t explain to me what had happened, just gave me a note so i can give it to my doctor. i had just suffered my 1st miscarriage and they wanted me to go and give a letter to the doctors and then I was told to go home.

2nd time i went up there because i was in a lot of pain and when i went for the scan they couldn’t see anything in the uterus and suspected an ectopic but they sent me home anyway and told me to come back in a couple of days. I went back and still nothing. I was admitted to a ward to have surgery and was in there doing nothing for 3 days, then they discharged me and then admitted me again and then discharged me again and then phoned me up a couple hours later for me to return and be admitted overnight, but in the end i gave up and said I’d rather my body do it itself and it did.

3rd time i went up there and once again they said everything was fine and as soon as i got home i started bleeding, and miscarried 2 days later.

4th time i rang them up and asked if i could go up as i had really bad pain and bleeding but they turned me away, saying that they didn’t have any appointments till the following week and i also needed to go through my doctors. But the following days i did finally have a miscarriage, and a really painful one as well, and they didn’t even have the decency to ring me up and ask how i was.

5th time i went up there and they told me that the heartbeat was weak and to come back in 2 weeks. I asked them if they can start doing tests as I’ve had 4 miscarriages already, and they said there’s nothing they can do. And i miscarried about 3 weeks later.

I am pregnant again. The date is 17th September 09 and am around 8 weeks, so just waiting to see what they do this time.
