"I can now sleep all night"

About: Rotherham PCT / Continence service

(as the patient),

At the moment I am receiving treatment for bladder problems (interstitial cystitis) which has been going on for nearly 2 years. Nothing seems to be working for me but now I have a catheter, which has given me some help, as I can now sleep all night. The burning sensation has seized. I have this removed in three weeks so we will see what happens after that. I have found Mr Rainsden a very good doctor who is interested in my condition doing all he can to help me. Also Jill in gynaecology is very good. I have no problems with any of my treatment so far.

I support the organisation in making sure that the voice of patients and the public is heard and used in planning services. This involves running events, managing surveys, and building networks with the local community.
