This story has been posted by Healthwatch Tameside on behalf of a member of the public who asked not to have their name published. They said...

This young woman has many years history of mental health issues. She is very well treated at Tameside Hospital psychiatric department, both as an inpatient and outpatient. Her CPN and Mental Health team give good support. She has distressing and difficult side-effects from her medication, but realises that this is a common occurrence, and is grateful her anxieties are taken seriously by the Community Services.
