I visited and A and E department in Hinchingbrooke Hospital due to my partner having a serious injury at work. As we waited in the cubicle, the doctor came, examined my partner then washed his hands. After washing his hands and drying them on a paper towel, he went and used his clean hands to open the clinical waste to put the paper towel in, instead of the foot pedal. ''Er, no use in washing hands if you are going to open the clinical waste bin"
Then 5 minutes later I saw a nurse unlocked the drugs cupboard, which was outside our cubicle in the main corridors, wondered off for 2 minutes, which the drugs cupboard, which should have been locked, and left it open, whilst patients walked by!
"I saw a nurse leave a drugs cupboard unlocked"
