About: Dorset County Hospital

This has always been a great hospital. The staff fantastic the service is as efficient as possible. I do have a complaint though. Why is the scanning department only open 8-12 weekdays. Im in the middle of a possible miscarriage and have to wait since Thursday evening until monday morning before I can get a scan. This is disgusting. Do you know the kind of worry thid causes. Im so upset and angry at the same time. Something needs to change.

I am really sorry to read your recent experience at the hospital. I can't respond to you via this site on why there was a delay as I don't have your details to look into this further. I have forwarded your comments to our Head of Midwifery, Jo Hartley and if you feel able to contact her directly she will investigate to find out why there was a delay.
