"Absolutely shocking hospital - avoid and go to LGI..."

Whilst the day to day staff are generally polite and hard working the consultants should never be believed. They promise urgent follow up appointments and once you are home mark them as routine and expect you to wait weeks in pain - this is the 2nd time its happened to me personally in the last 12 months and I know of friends and family with the same experience. I really question why this hospital is still open if the management / consultants are sooooo bad. A few more miles will get you to Huddersfield Royal / Pinderfields or LGI - do it you wont be sorry - trust me i am not a doctor ;-)
