About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS) The Princess Royal Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

Was advised an appointment at my preferred hospital would take 12-16 weeks and was offered an earlier appointment at a hospital 30 miles away. When preferred hospital appointment came through it was 3 weeks earlier than the out of area hospital offered. Treatment and care at PRH, Telford was good although still awaiting biopsy results one month later.

Thank you for sharing your comments with the team.

The TRAQS team can only offer appointments if they have been released by the hospital and to ensure that we offer patients the earliest appointment possible a Choice of hospital dates/times is offered whenever possible, The hospitals do set up extra clinics on occasion at short notice and this is most likely what happened on this occasion.

I am pleased that you were seen sooner than anticipated and thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback with team.
