"ENT appointment mix up"

About: Castle Hill Hospital / Ear, Nose and Throat

(as the patient),

I attended the ENT outpatients clinic at Castle Hill Hospital near Hull as arranged by my doctor through the NHS, on time, to be told I did not have an appointment at Castle hill hospital and had to phone NHS.

When I returned home I checked with the NHS appointments on the number I had been given by the receptionist at Castle Hill Hospital ENT. I was told by NHS appointments that my appointment with Castle Hill Hospital was valid and I should have been on the appointment list.

In my opinion, this infers that someone at the Hospital Booking is at fault and it also means I will have longer to wait for another appointment.
