"I'm a very unhappy patient"

About: Barnsley Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

I was admitted on Sat morning with suspected urine infection. I then was told I could have gall stones. On the third day I had a scan showing nothing, but my bowels being opposite sides to usual.

Then i was asked when i had my gall bladder removed, which i haven't. Then i was told i may have passed a kidney stone. After 5 days i was told the painkillers i had been on had made me constipated and that was now causing my pain. I was sent home with the relevant medication for this.

The morning after, I was readmitted in total agony again. I now have suspected appendicitis but as it is a bank holiday i now have to wait 4 days for a scan and possible appendix removal.

I am also begging for pain relief and at the moment one unhappy patient.
