"Fantastically well looked after!"

I recently attended for a circumcision and was extremely anxious prior to the procedure being carried out. I need not have worried as I couldn't have asked for more in terms of the standard of care that I received and the way that all staff that I came into contact with were exceptionally caring and professional. The procedure was carried out by the consultant with assistance from a doctor and another nurse. The three were fully aware of my anxiety and constantly talked to me throughout the procedure to keep my mind off what was happening but also giving encouragement and just enough information on how things were progressing. I had suffered for quite some years before plucking up the courage to have this issue dealt with and now, only 2 days later, I am looking back and wondering why I didn't do something sooner. All staff at Mount Stuart played their part in providing an excellent service but, in particular, I would like to thank the 3 staff in attendance in the operating room for their skill, expertise and understanding. Pain during and post procedure have been minimal. Thank you once again and, if I am unlucky enough to have the need for hospital treatment again in the future I hope that it can be at Mount Stuart.
