I was in Chebsey Ward, in 2013 after being moved. Some of the staff were very friendly, playing pool, watching flms and having conversations yet other members sat in the office all day every day. The checks were't as frequent as stated however, which led to some difficult circumstances in my opinion. I was assaulted once on the ward and although the police were involved I am aware that nothing would have been done because the person involved didn't have capacity which saddens me. Occupational therapy was very credible, cooking, art, swimming and so forth really boosted my moral. Also, the ability to access a vicar/ reverand ( cannot remember which) and a physio was exceptional. Really valued the time and effort spent by the staff in getting to know me ( bar a few snobby ones) although a male did end up in my female room, on a female wing doing unpleasant things. things like this should be addressed as it distressed me a lot.
