"A & E Department"

About: Tameside General Hospital

Despite the recent pressures put on the A & E services I can only say that I was treated quickly and with respect by all concerned during my recent visit to the hospital. Everywhere was clean, staff attentive and the actual treatment great. I cannot understand why this hospital remains listed as inadequate. Pull your finger out CQC and rate more fairly.

‘’Would you like to help the hospital to improve its services further? We are currently looking for patients and carers to become involved in a development called “Patient Stories”. We want to know more about our services from the point of view of those who received them – what was good, bad, what could be improved, what should be changed.
