"congratulations to A & E and the clinical assessment unit"

I can only record my thanks and admiration for the doctors and nursing staff of the above departments. Admitted as an emergency case late in the day I was treated with courtesy and respect from my arrival. Various tests were carried out in the A & E before I was transferred to the clinical assessment unit. Medical and nursing care was carried out throughout the night with further diagnoses throughout the day. The result being that a successful operation has been carried out and I am on the way to recovery. I feel that if GPs did not refer patients so easily then the A & E would not be so hard pressed.

All I saw of St Heliers was clean and tidy; most unlike the scary stories printed in the local press. Well done and grateful thanks to all those who work in these departments
