What a fantastic Hospital! I had my Gallbladder removed on 11th February in the Day Unit. I arrived at 12 noon and was in the operating theatre at 1.30pm! From walking through the doors i was put at ease. Never having had surgery before I was very nervous but the staff were fantastic. At 5.30pm I was back in the car on my way home to Carlisle. I just can't thank them enough. My local hospital has its fair share of problems and bad press and they could learn such a lot about patient care from this gem of a hospital. Thank you all so much. My husband was very impressed with the chicken korma and chips from your cafe, that he managed to put away whilst I was in the operating theatre too. Thank you all.
