I attended the colonoscopy suite today as part of the colon cancer screening program me I went feeling quite apprehensive and anxious about the procedure but was reassured and supported by all the staff in the department from the nurse who admitted me to the doctor and nurses during the procedure also the nurses in recovery to the nurse who discharged me Having retired from nursing and hearing all the negative news about the NHS it made me proud that I was once part of the service and more needs to be reported about the positive news and excellent health service we have in this country so well done to Leighton hospital keep up the good work
