One of the best days of my life giving birth to my son, I felt in very safe hands with the midwife, it was a long and scary day but it was always explained to me what was going on, however, I was not checked as much as I was meant to have been. When my son was born he was poorly and spent a week in the neonatal unit, where they were very careful with him and took care of him, whilst brook ward staff were wonderful and took care of me. Brook ward are a credit to the hospital.
