"Didn't detect a problem that a high street..."

About: Queen's Hospital, Burton Upon Trent

I recently had an appointment at the treatment centre and some routine eye exams that any option would do and then I saw an ophthalmologist who did a quick examination of my eye and told me I was long sighted (known this for years) and to go to an optician to get some glasses. They also told me they would contact a doctor in Birmingham regarding interactions of my medications (my cmht have already said that this isn't the case) So today I went to the optician who did an in depth examination and he saw a problem with my cornea which seems to be the cause of my vision trouble. I'm just a bit dismayed that this wasn't picked up by the ophthalmologist who briefly checked my eye in the first place, my dad also said that he couldn't wait to get rid of us.
