I am a 28 year old female with a number of medical conditions. I also suffer from mental health problems. I'm not going to lie, I got so depressed last November that I tried to commit suicide. I was swiftly taken into the rescuitation room in A&E and worked on for a while. I'm not sure what happened then but I woke up in the Intensive Care Unit two days later. I then moved to Millbridge ward a few days after that. All through out my stay, the staff (all of them!) were kind, caring, friendly, reassuring and above all, nonjudgmental. I didn't feel like I was a waste of time or like I had done anything wrong. The Hospital looks a bit outdated but I b that is because they invest the money they get into patients! I Felt really looked after, safe and secure. On a separate occasion, I visited the gynaecology nurse specialist , she is simply wonderful! I suffer from a nasty and debilitating condition called endometriosis and it is not often recognised by medical professionals... but not this hospital and it's staff! The Nurse specialist is a true gem! Keep up the good work, RSCH... You're amazing!
"Excellent, caring and nonjudgmental staff."
