"I was given gold star treatment"

About: Royal Bournemouth General Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

At a time when I needed care & medical attention, the staff in Royal Bournemouth hospital A & E were attentive communicative & professional. I was experiencing chest pain & was given gold star treatment.

Energency admissions were also good and did whatever they could for each patient. Mollie in particular was so reassuring and kind. The lady consultant really sorry I can't remember her name was empathetic & allayed my fears. This is not something I have experienced from this level of medic before. Dr Miller was part of her team, again great level of understanding from the patients point of view. A very big thank you to all: )

Dear 58up

Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences of both our A & E, Emergency Admissions.

I will ensure that your comments regarding your gold star treatment are relayed to the A&E staff.

I will also pass on your kind words to the staff in Emergency Admissions, in particular Mollie, the lady consultant and Dr Miller who I am sure will all be delighted to receive your comments and thanks.

Kind regards

Sue Mellor

Thank you for your reply, can I also add that one of the male nurses Roberto on AMU took on my health concerns & kept me fully informed.
