"Disgusting treatment, then lied in response to..."

About: Russells Hall Hospital

1st child: Several staff rude, on power trips. Only saw a dr once, when my BP was sky high. They kept telling me to go home, and because they didn't document this, and because I refused to go due to being in such pain, they say there was 'no evidence' this happened, i.e. they're calling me a liar! Inhumane treatment of a person in utter agony- response to complaint they kept trying to send me home with dangerous BP and in agony was that pain wasn't a reason to keep me in hospital. Would they discharge someone after surgery in agony? Staff got me confused with another patient, told me to go home because I was having too many cigarettes- could hardly move, let alone take up a new habit outside. I was in more pain than I could cope with for the four days of labour, but they thought I was being silly because I wasn't fully dilated, therefore I couldn't have been in that much pain...My baby was stuck, back to back, and was not able to dilate my cervix. Yet post emergency caesarean, I was independent, and didn't ask for painkillers once. Breast feeding fascists told me I couldn't go home and wasn't allowed to give formula top ups (all target-related, nothing to do with my choice or what's best for me and baby). Tongue-tie obsessed people kept saying my baby needed to have it cut... Baby did not have a tongue tie. Many of my points in my complaint were simply ignored. The rest were either lied about, or I was told I should have told staff at the time (difficult when they were rarely near me). My second child was also born here- I thought it couldn't possibly be as bad a second time, but after my last experience, I just wanted to go home. They tried to get me to stay in, I happily signed the disclaimer, yet when I received the bunch of lies that was the reply to my complaint, they said they had (without warning or informing me that they would) referred me to social services! Avoid this maternity unit! A decent organisation would admit when they'd got it wrong, and apologise, and aim to do better in the future. This one just wants to cover its self - if their staff didn't document it, they say it didn't happen. How many staff would actually document 'I treated this patient really badly'?
