Response from St Thomas' Hospital

I was sorry to read that you and your husband were unhappy with the consultation described in your feedback. Clearly it was a distressing experience. I am especially sorry that you both left the hospital feeling disappointed by the Pain Clinic. I have discussed your feedback with the Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) and the Service Manager of the Pain Clinic. They would like to be able to respond to your comments and – better still – to provide you and your husband with a full explanation and apology for your experience and discuss next steps regarding your husband’s treatment. Unfortunately, they are not able to do this without further details. If you would like to have a discussion with either of these staff members, please telephone the PALS (patient advice and liaison service) on 020 7188 8801, 020 7188 8803 or email pals@gstt.nhs.uk.
