my names brooklyn im 11 nearly 12 i had so much pain in my testical i had to come into hospital on friday i thought they were going to cut it off,i was really scared but guess wot it was fine i still have 2 testicals and no more pain,the nurses and doctors were cool, all of them were great they didnt laugh at me when i was crying they helped me calm down and looked after my mum and my sister,they told me the truth wot would happen to me and that helped ,there was one doctor with 1 blue glove on i remeber him cos i didnt like him and dont think my mum did either but everyone else was just great ,dont get me wrong i dont wanna go back and couldnt wait to get out of there but for all those kids about to go in to hospital and scared like me, just wanna say its gonna be fine the nurses and doctors really do look after you and guess wot u wake up and its all over. ps thanks 4 my presents

Brooklyn - thanks so much for getting in and touch and sharing your story. It really sounds like you had a very scary time wondering what might happen, but the doctors and nurses looked after you well - and in the end, everything was okay. And you know what, we don't want you to come back - we want you to stay healthy, well and having fun. But if for some strange reason you do end back up in our children's A&E and Bluebell ward here at the Lister (and we really hope you won't need to), then our doctors and nurses will treat you with same kindness and caring as they did last Friday.
