"breast screening"

About: Broadgreen Hospital

I attended the breast screening unit last week and felt very dissatisfied, as this was my first visit I thought it would be explained to me before I was ushered into a room, told to undress and then taken through to have my test in all my glory! I was so embarrassed I was not even told the examiners name and felt like a piece of meat, pulled, pushed and squashed in a vice, each time I winced at the squashing the examiner pressed it down more, I felt I was in a torture chamber and after days of pain and bruising have decided I will never repeat this test again. I just hope now my test results are normal because I don't think I can face going through any treatment that may be required.
