"wowed by improvement"

Like many people I have had negative experience in the past in being a patient and visiting the hospital, however, my mother has recently been discharged from ward d41 and I have to say I was thoroughly delighted with the care she received from every member of staff, nursing and domestic alike. Nothing was too much bother to them even though they are extremely busy, they kept the patients spirits up with their cheerful approach to patient care. A special commendation to the sister..what a thoroughly lovely person..she put our family at ease and was wonderful with mum. She was on duty at mums Discharge and mum was so appreciative of her care mum was in tears. She had been very fearful if being in hospital but this has changed mums perspective and will help if she has to return for further care. At a time when there is so much criticism of the NHS I think a job thoroughly well done deserves praise..for the cynics...I'm not in the NHS or linked to it or the hospital. Whatever you're doing hospital management keep it up its working
