I just wanted to give you some feedback on the fantastic level of care and treatment me and my daughter received at Macclesfield hospital today. My 5 year old daughter fell off a bench at school and broke her elbow in the playground. The school called me and advised us to get her arm checked out, so we made or way to the hospital. When we arrived there we only waited about 20 mins before being seen to by a lovely nurse. I just want to say what a credit she is to the hospital and was fantastic with my daughter who was very upset and worried at the time. The nurse calmed her down and reassured her which then calmed her down. We then moved to a room awaiting an X-ray. Once again the ladies in the X-ray room were all fantastic with Lilly-Mae. I didn't get their name but there were 3 of them and all were great. Then the doctor requested another X-ray just to look at her elbow from another angle, which in turn saved Lilly having to go into theatre for it to be operated on. Instead she just had a cast on! Again i didn't get the doctors name but he was also great. He showed me the X-ray and explained everything i need to know. When we came away Lilly had a sticker, Bravery certificate and the nurse went and brought out a little teddy bear for Lilly. I thought this was a lovely gesture. i don't really write reviews and feel that hospitals sometimes get a lot of stick for things and not a lot about the good they do. So a big well done and Thank you to the team in A&E who helped Lilly-Mae. I really wish i had all the names of the people involved as they deserve some recognition. Kind Regards,
"5 year old daughter with a broken arm"
