Following a procedure in urology, I was told that my results etc would be given in a follow up appointment. It is now February and still no appointment! As I result, I have tried to contact the department and consultant on countless occasions, only to be put through to answer phones and secretaries who do not return calls, or transferred to a call centre who cannot make appointments or their behalf. I finally had enough and complained to the call centre who had no idea what to do and gave me another number to call where I could complain. I have finally decided my health is too important to be dealt with my inefficient people who are not concerned with patient care and have asked my doctor to refer me for the whole procedure with an alternative hospital. What a waste of everyone's time and energy.
