I am very proud as a health professional working in the NHS to write this review to praise everyone for the excellent care I received on the surgical day unit at NTGH. Today I had a bunion operation 12.2.2015 .From the moment I arrived on the ward at 7.30 am till the time I left the care I received was 5 star. All staff are a credit to the NHS and North Tyneside hospital, the staff on the ward, to the aneathetists who gave me my ankle block... The theatre staff and the administration team. Thank you and although I do not wish to have more surgery I would not hesitate to come back to your great hospital. Pam Ashtiani
