Since moving into the area and registering with the GP I’ve been disappointed that I very rarely see the GP I registered with.
I live in a care home and chose to register with a more experience older doctor. However, whenever I need a doctor it’s always a young girl who is sent to see me. She is very nice but I don’t think she has the right experience to deal with elderly patients. I have not felt quite right for some time, not as well as normal.
The only way I can see the doctor I registered with is if I go to the surgery – but it’s not very easy getting there. I do think my doctor should come to the care home occasionally.
