"Paramedic was very reassuring"

About: South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as a relative),

Thank you very much to the ambulance service who came out to see to my husband on Saturday. Rob Windle, the paramedic was really helpful and took care of both my husband and me.

My husband collapsed on the stairs and could neither get up the stairs nor come back down. Rob was able to examine my husband, he took comprehensive tests and then helped him up the stairs and into bed. He was very reassuring, told us to call again if anything happened. We are both 83, it was lovely of Rob to be so caring.

Dear Silver281

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I hope your husband is feeling much better now.

It is always rewarding to hear that our staff are continuing to provide excellent care to our patients, and those around them, when they need us most.

I will pass your kind comments onto Rob and ensure that he is recognised for the care he gave.

Thank you again for providing feedback on our service.

Kind regards

Laura
