About: Clatterbridge Hospital

I have been admitted to this ward 3 times and ive got to say its like being at home! your welcomed with a big smile and begin to feel a part of the family as you step through the door. I know i can go to the nurses if i needed advice and i know that if i have a problem with anything they are there for me and every patient in there care. I have recently realised that they are employing downsyndrome and there is a member of staff on this ward that greats me with a massive smile every morning makes sure that im okay and always asks if we need anything. They clean for the life of them and always makes sure that the job is done to a top standard and believe me it is really clean on the ward. i would reconmend this ward and hospital to everyone i know because its the only hospital i trust in the surrounding area because they do everything they can possible for you. The ward is up to date as much as it can be, the facilities are great in the hospital environment as you have a day room, and a kitchen which you can use when ever you would like. I know that i will always trust everyone on this ward because they know exactly what to do if it flares up again and i would do anything for this hospital because it excells the rest!! A***********

Thank you very much for your kind comments. We are extremely grateful that you have taken the time to provide this feedback. Our staff work hard to try to ensure that a patient’s experience whilst at the hospital is as pleasant and comfortable as possible, and they are always considerably heartened and motivated on learning how much their efforts have been appreciated. We have passed your kind sentiments to staff in our Dermatology Ward. If we can be of further assistance in any way, please do not hesitate to contact the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on freephone 0800 432 0251, email wih-tr.pals@nhs.net or in writing to PALS, Arrowe Park Hospital, Arrowe Park Road, Upton, Wirral, CH49 5PE.
